Ignition and retry
What happens, in order
- Heat demand starts the combustion fan; a brief fan purge runs first
- Ignition control opens the gas valve and sparks; flame is proven with the flame sensor
- If flame is not proven the control retries ignition 2 more times (3 attempts total)
- Three failed attempts give lockout Loc 1 (ignition error)
- Loc 1 and Loc 2 are hard lockouts; cycling power does not clear them, hold RESET on the display to clear
- If flame is lost during normal running the boiler locks out on flame failure
Timings and thresholds
