Run the system test (fixed fan / low / ignition / high fire)
Boiler · Glow B85/B120/B160
Parameter 0.200 appears in the user menu only after the installer code has been entered. Used for combustion setup; the boiler locks in CH mode so a heat load must be available. It times out on its own.
- Enter the installer code in CodE, leave the installer menu and open the user menu (0.000).
- Select 0.200. The main screen shows tESt alternating with the active test.
- Step through tests with CH up/down or DHW up/down: OFF, FAN (fixed fan speed), Lo (minimum power), Ign (ignition power), Hi (maximum power), REg (maximum power limited by supply temperature), Stb (max thermostat test), LCO1 (low water cut-off test).
- For combustion analysis pick Hi, wait 5 minutes, measure CO2/CO at the 1/2 in. test port in the exhaust adapter, then check Lo as well.

Reset & cancel
Clearing lockouts, service reminders and fault history; skipping purge or de-air programs.
Cancel the 14-minute de-air sequence
Boiler · Glow B85/B120/B160
On every power-up (parameter 2.139 = 1) the control runs a 14-minute de-air cycle (dAir) and ignores calls. If the system is already purged you can skip it.
- Hold CH down and DHW down together for at least 3 seconds while dAir shows.
- To change when it runs: 2.139 = 0 runs it every 24 h, 1 after every power cycle (default), 2 disables it.

Clear a lockout
Boiler · Glow B85/B120/B160
Hard lockouts (Loc) are not cleared by cycling power.
- Hold RESET/ENTER for at least 2 seconds on the display.
- For software lockouts also press the small reset button on the back of the ICB.
- Too many resets in a row triggers Err 134; then cycle power and fix the real cause.

Reset the service reminder (wrench icon)
Boiler · Glow B85/B120/B160
A blinking wrench means the service interval has elapsed.
- In the installer menu open 2.203 and choose Reset (the parameter can also be switched On/Off).
- 2.204 sets the interval in days (30-1275, default 1000).

Commissioning
Start-up and set-up steps that are easy to miss.
Set the appliance type for CPVC / high temperature venting
Boiler · Glow B85/B120/B160
Factory setting limits flue temperature to 149 F for PVC. For CH or DHW setpoints above 140 F the vent must be CPVC and the control must be told.
- Set 2.138 to 52 (B85/B120 NG), 53 (B160) or 55 (B85/B120 LP) for a 194 F flue limit; 50, 51 and 54 are the PVC defaults.
- Raise 2.024 (max CH setpoint) and 2.003, and for DHW 2.091 and 2.115, to the required values up to 180 F.
- Exceeding what the vent allows gives Loc 16.

For licensed technicians. Installer menus, test modes and access codes change settings that affect safety; only use them if you are trained on the appliance and understand the result. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person, and the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model and local codes always take priority.
