Outdoor reset and warm weather shutoff
What happens, in order
- Outdoor sensor reads outside temperature
- Control sets the heating set point from the curve between min and max outdoor/supply points
- Lowering the CH set point shifts the curve down
- If the outdoor temperature exceeds the warm weather setting the boiler is disabled
- If the outdoor sensor fails (and function 21 is on) the control ignores reset and uses the programmed temperature

For licensed technicians. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person. Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
