Install alternate upflow filter clip / bracket kit (KIT09224)
What is going on
KIT09224, alternate upflow filter clips. Side return uses the cabinet dimples, bottom return has holes drilled already. Leaf spring clip goes at the rear.
Likely causes
- Clips mounted at the wrong location for the return type
- Leaf spring clip installed at the front instead of the rear
- Screws started without pre-drilled clearance holes at the dimples
Check in this order
- Pick the location. Dimples mark where the alternate clips go on side return cabinets. Bottom return holes are already drilled.
- Pre-drill clearance holes with a 3/16 in drill at side return dimples.
- Install the clips at the front and rear of the location with the screws supplied.
- Mount the clip with the leaf spring at the rear of the cabinet.
- Slide the filter in and check it sits flat and holds.
