Direct vent: concentric vent kits RXGY-E02A (2 in) and RXGY-E03A (3 in)

96V96MDV

What is going on

Concentric kits for vertical or horizontal intake and vent runs through a roof or sidewall. The 3 in kit needs a 5 in diameter hole. The 2 in kit needs a 3-5/8 in diameter hole. Keep the termination at least 12 in above the highest expected snow level (U.S.) and no more than 24 in above the roof. The IPEX concentric termination (item 196006) can be used instead. A trap on the inlet air pipe is not required with this option. Equivalent lengths from the sizing section are added to the concentric vent.

Check in this order

  1. Cut a 5 in diameter hole for RXGY-E03A (3 in) or a 3-5/8 in hole for RXGY-E02A (2 in).
  2. Keep the termination at least 12 in above the highest expected snow level (U.S.).
  3. Keep the vent no more than 24 in above the roof.
  4. Do not install an inlet trap with this option.
  5. Add the equivalent length from the vent sizing section to the concentric vent length.

Applies to: Options 6 and 7 (vertical or horizontal concentric)

For licensed technicians. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person. Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
