A95/A93/95G1/92G1UH

What is going on

Clean the burners and crossovers after removing the burner and manifold assembly.

Likely causes

  • Foreign matter blocking the burner ports or crossovers

Check in this order

  1. Turn off gas and electrical power and remove the heating compartment access panel.
  2. Disconnect and label the gas valve, ignitor, rollout switch, flame sensor and ground wires.
  3. Disconnect the gas supply line from the gas valve.
  4. Remove the four screws holding the burner and manifold assembly to the vestibule. Do not let the ignitor plate dislodge.
  5. Gently vacuum the burner faces with a soft brush attachment.
  6. Check inside the burners and crossovers for blockage and clear any found.
  7. Reinstall the assembly with the existing four screws, reconnect all wires and the gas line.
  8. Verify gas and electrical connections, then run the furnace for 5 minutes and replace the access panel.

For licensed technicians. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person. Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
