Blank display
What is going on
If the screen on your C95 or C140 is dark, start with the simple stuff. Is it getting power at all? The ICB, the main control board, has an LED that tells you whether it is alive, and that splits the problem in two: no power to the board, or a good board with a bad link to the display.
Likely causes
- No power at the plug or the breaker is off
- Blown 5 A, 250 V fuse on the ICB
- Loose or damaged wiring between the ICB and the display
Check in this order
- Turn off power before opening the unit.
- Confirm the unit is plugged in and the breaker is on.
- Check that the LED on the ICB is lit. If not, check the fuse on the ICB (5 A, 250 V, same part only).
- If the fuse is blown, look for the cause before replacing it, such as a pinched wire.
- If the LED is lit, check the wiring from the ICB to the display.

For licensed technicians. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person. Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
