Heating mode
What happens, in order
- Room temperature is at or below the set temperature plus 2C (3.6F), so the compressor, outdoor fan and reversing valve energize and the indoor fan runs under the anti-cold-air rules
- Between set temperature plus 2C and plus 5C (9F), the unit keeps its previous state
- At set temperature plus 5C or higher, the compressor stops, the outdoor fan runs on 30 s and the indoor fan blows residual heat on low for 60 s with the speed locked
- When the unit is switched off or changed to another mode, the reversing valve is de-energized after the compressor has stopped
- Compressor frequency is adjusted automatically with outdoor temperature
- With the compressor running and outdoor air at 20C (68F) or above, a low or medium indoor fan speed is raised to high; at 18C (64.4F) or below it returns to the set speed
