Cooling and dry mode (multi-zone)
What happens, in order
- Compressor is stopped and one indoor unit reaches its cooling condition: the expansion valve, outdoor fan and compressor start
- The outdoor fan starts 5 s before the compressor and runs high for 3 minutes, then goes to its set speed; each speed is held at least 80 s
- When some indoor units are satisfied the compressor keeps running at the frequency required; satisfied units get their expansion valve closed
- When all indoor units are satisfied the compressor stops at once and the outdoor fan stops after 1 minute
- Switching to heating the 4-way valve is energized after the compressor has been stopped 2 minutes
- 4-way valve is off in cooling
- Dry mode follows the cooling start and stop rules; capacity demand per indoor unit is capped at 90 percent of its cooling value
