Cooling and dry mode with protections

Livo GEN4

What happens, in order

  1. Room temperature at or above setpoint indoor fan, outdoor fan and compressor run, indoor fan at set speed
  2. When the room drops far enough below setpoint the compressor stops, the outdoor fan runs on 60 s and the indoor fan keeps its set speed; in the band between, the unit holds its previous state
  3. Reversing valve stays de-energized; setpoint range 61-86F
  4. Dry mode compressor and outdoor fan run with the indoor fan on low while room is above setpoint; compressor stops when room is below setpoint, outdoor fan runs on 60 s
  5. Anti-freeze from 6 minutes after the compressor starts, coil at or below 35.6F reduces compressor frequency; coil at or below 30.2F for 3 minutes stops the compressor and the outdoor fan stops 60 s later
  6. Compressor restarts when the coil is 42.8F or higher and the compressor has been off at least 3 minutes
  7. Current limiting 16A or less allows frequency to rise; 17A or more blocks a rise; 18A or more reduces frequency; 20A or more stops the compressor and the outdoor fan 60 s later
