Gree · Mini-split · Cooling
Dry (dehumidify) mode
What happens, in order
- Room temperature is above the set temperature, so the compressor and outdoor fan run and the indoor fan is held on low speed
- Between set temperature minus 2C and set temperature, the compressor stays in its previous state
- Below set temperature minus 2C, the compressor stops, the outdoor fan stops after 30 s and the indoor fan stays on low
- Protections are the same as in cooling

Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
