Signature Command: no beep after master switch ON

DVBL7 Signature Command

What is going on

System does not beep within about 8 seconds.

Likely causes

  • Batteries wrong way round or weak
  • AC plug not in the mains
  • 5-pin connector on the AC board broken or bent
  • Command center to control board cable not connected
  • Failed AC board, control board or command center

Check in this order

  1. Reinstall or replace the batteries
  2. Plug the adapter into the mains and check for solid green LED
  3. Repair or replace the AC board
  4. Check the 2 ft / 15 ft cable at both ends
  5. Replace the control board or command center

Applies to: 300DVBLN/PSC7, 400DVBLN/PSC7, 500DVBLN/PSC7 (Signature Command)
