Millivolt: pilot will not light with the piezo
What is going on
Repeated clicks of the piezo igniter and no pilot flame.
Likely causes
- Igniter wire off
- Bad igniter or pilot assembly
- No gas or low gas pressure
- Propane tank empty
Check in this order
- Open the door and make sure the igniter wire is connected
- Look for a spark at the electrode and pilot; no spark with wire good means replace the pilot assembly
- Check the shutoff valve; bent, restricted or undersized lines give low pressure
- Check the propane tank level
Applies to: 400DVBLN/PV7, 500DVBLN/PV7 (millivolt)

For licensed technicians. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person. Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
