Blue, lifting flame (ghosting)
What is going on
Flame burns blue and lifts off the burner.
Likely causes
- Not enough combustion air.
Check in this order
- Make sure the vent cap is fitted correctly and clear
- Check vent joints for leaks
- Clear the inner air intake at the bottom back of the firebox
- Check the glass is latched and sealed
