Heating system warms without a call

What is going on

Radiators get hot without a demand.

Likely causes

  • Pump program key on (continuous circulation)
  • Dirt or binding in the three-way valve or cartridge

Check in this order

  1. Switch the pump program off.
  2. Clean or replace the three-way valve.
