Red LED fast flash (heartbeat) Call for heat - burner operation
What the display is showing
The red LED blinks quickly while a heat call is being served. On control 107163-01 the fast heartbeat is about half a second on and half a second off and is used only during a heat call. On control 103217-03 the manual calls it a continuous rapid flash. It differs from an error code, which flashes a number of times and then pauses for 3 seconds.
Applies to: EL195UHNE furnaces with ignition control 103217-03 or 107163-01 (red LED)
