CoreSense 2 Pressure trip - yellow 2 flashes (red 2 = lockout)
What the control is telling you
Compressor ran 12 s to 15 min, then tripped for longer than 7 min (discharge pressure too high or overload). Red 2 flashes with yellow off = locked out after 4 trips in a row or 10 total.
Applies to: Copeland CoreSense 3-wire module: Amana/Deluxe R-410A ASX, ASZ, DSX, DSZ units and Amana R-32 ALXS / ALZS units
Likely causes

- High head pressure: high pressure switch, overcharge, non-condensables
- Dirty, blocked or damaged outdoor coil
Test and repair steps
- Warning: Kill power to the outdoor unit before touching wiring, the compressor terminals or the control.
- Check outdoor fan capacitor, wiring and motor.
- Clean the outdoor coil.
