Wall mounting the boiler
What is going on
Mount the boiler with two people. Use the wall mount kit and the rules for the wall type.
Check in this order
- Confirm the wall is concrete, brick, block, or wood studs at 16 in. on center, and can hold at least 150 lbs.
- Do not mount to a hollow wall.
- Position the upper bracket level on the wall; mark four holes, two per side of the bracket.
- For wood studs, make sure the holes land on studs and use field washers with the Fischer screws.
- Drill, plug and secure the upper bracket.
- Attach the lower bracket to the boiler, hang the boiler on the upper bracket, and make sure it is level.
- Mark the lower bracket holes, drill and plug the wall, and secure the lower bracket with field screws.
- Make sure the boiler is plumb, then tighten the bracket to the boiler.

For licensed technicians. Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a qualified, licensed person. Shut off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and follow the manufacturer’s manual for the exact model; it and local codes always take priority.
