What is going on

Possible causes and checks for: runs but not pumping.

Likely causes

  • Worn pump
  • Leaking discharge valves

Check in this order

  1. Watt/VA reading below rating = worn. Pinch suction, pull 25–28 in. Hg in seconds
  2. Decays 20→10 in. Hg = valves leaking → replace
