Likely causes
- Gas valve switch off / manual valve closed
- Low or no gas pressure
- Faulty gas valve
- Dirty or failed flame sensor
- Failed hot surface igniter
- Loose wiring
- Burner problem
Test and repair steps
- Make sure the gas valve switch is ON and supply valves are open.
- Check inlet gas pressure.
- Watch the igniter glow and the valve open; check 24 V at the valve during trial.
- Clean or replace the flame sensor.
- Check igniter resistance and wiring.
- Inspect burners for alignment and debris.
- To read stored codes with no thermostat call active, tap the LAST ERROR button briefly (under 5 s); up to five codes play back newest first. Two green flashes = memory empty. Hold the button 5 s or more to clear (three green flashes confirm).
