H Gas heat on

Normal status Rheem/Ruud 802P / 80MDP 80% two-stage furnace (UT 1028-928 IFC)R95PRGPE/RGLER96V/96MDV

What the display is showing

Capital H on the display means a gas heating call is running. On the 802P two-stage control H is the high-fire heat stage; on the R95P it is the general gas-heat indicator. On RGPE/RGLE the troubleshooting chart expects a steady H during a heat call at high fire (a flashing H points to a dip-switch check). While a lockout is active the fault code replaces it.
