Test and repair steps

  1. Warning: Kill power and let the outdoor board capacitors bleed down (about 20 min, or meter the DC bus below 20 V) before touching the inverter board.
  2. Check compressor wiring and order.
  3. Measure winding resistance.
  4. Replace the compressor or outdoor board as found.
