Gree · Heat pump
PL DC bus voltage too low
What the control is telling you
The inverter DC bus voltage dropped below its limit, so the compressor stops.
Applies to: Gree Sapphire 9-24k (SAP..HP230V1A), Livo GEN4 30-36k (4LIV..HP230V1A), Vireo GEN3 9-24k (3VIR..HP115/230V1A), Multi21+ 18-24k multi-zone (MULTI..HP230V1CO), GMV6 Ultra Heat Mini VRF 36-60k (GMV-V..WL/C-T(U))
Likely causes
- Supply voltage too low (around 150 VAC or less at L-N)
- Loose supply connection
- Outdoor board DC bus circuit faulty
Test and repair steps
- Measure L to N at XT under load and have low voltage corrected before restarting.
- Tighten supply and terminal connections.
- If the supply is normal, check the electrolytic capacitor voltage on AP1 and replace AP1 if that circuit is faulty.
