Err 162 Low water pressure under 10 psi (FILL)

Medium severity Glow B85/B120/B160

What the control is telling you

Pressure dropped below 10 psi (0.7 bar); the error shows immediately together with FILL.

Applies to: B85, B120, B160 (NG and LP)

Likely causes

  • System pressure too low
  • Dirty or failed pressure sensor
  • Pressure sensor cable

Test and repair steps

  1. Raise system pressure to at least 16 psi (1.1 bar) and cycle power.
  2. If the external gauge shows over 20 psi, inspect the pressure sensor and cable; clean a dirty sensor gently with a calcium/rust remover.
  3. Replace the pressure sensor if needed.
