PC0L Outdoor temperature too low

Low severity Carrier DLCM(R/H)B multi-zone outdoorCarrier DLFSHB high wall indoor

What the control is telling you

Outdoor air is below the range the unit is allowed to run in, so it stops (protection, not a part failure). Outdoor board shows LP; 48K HH shows P3 in heating.

Applies to: DLCM(R/H)B multi-zone outdoor units with DLFSHBH high wall indoor units (Midea, Carrier, Viessmann)

Likely causes

  • Very low outdoor temperature

Test and repair steps

  1. Check the actual outdoor temperature.
  2. The unit restarts by itself when it warms up. If it keeps showing this in normal weather, check the T4 sensor (see EC53).
