Indoor unit modes: cooling, dry, heating, auto and fan
What happens, in order
- Cooling indoor fan and swing run as set; setpoint 16-30C
- If the outdoor unit faults or stops on protection, the indoor unit keeps its previous state and shows the code
- Dry indoor fan runs on low, swing as set; protections as in cooling; sleep is not available in dry
- Heating on start the indoor unit enters cold-air prevention (blower held back until the coil is warm; remote note says 1-5 minute delay depending on room temperature)
- On stop, if the indoor unit was only just running, it enters a residual-heat blowing period
- Auto mode standard heating setpoint 20C and standard cooling setpoint 25C; the unit changes mode by room temperature
- Fan mode indoor fan runs at the chosen speed; compressor, outdoor fan and 4-way valve stay off
