Display shows a strange code or does not answer the remote - DLFSHB indoor

Midea DLFSHBH wall indoor (DLCM multi-zone)

What is going on

The indoor display shows a code that is not in the tables, or the unit ignores the remote.

Likely causes

  • Temperature reading mistaken for a code
  • Bad indoor PCB
  • Bad display board

Check in this order

  1. Make sure the 'code' is not just a temperature reading.
  2. Test with the remote. Display works but the unit ignores the remote = replace the indoor PCB.
  3. Unit responds but the display stays dark after pressing LED = replace the display board.

Applies to: DLFSHBH high wall indoor units 09-24K (Midea / Carrier / Viessmann) on DLC multi-zone or single-zone outdoor units
