Likely causes

  • Poor ground or power surge
  • PCB fault

Test and repair steps

  1. Make sure the power cord is plugged into a properly grounded outlet (manual's listed action).
  2. A surge protector is recommended; check for recent power surges.
  3. Reset once with the Back button on the front panel and note whether the code returns.
  4. Code back after a reset? Stay at the unit and phone Navien Technical Support, 1-800-519-8794.
