High severity Midea DLCM(R/H)B multi-zone outdoor

What the control is telling you

48K high heat only: the outdoor main board gets no reply from the adapter (inverter) board.

Applies to: DLCMRBH / DLCMHBH multi-zone outdoor units 18-48K (Midea, Carrier, Viessmann Vitocal 200-S)

Test and repair steps

  1. Safety kill power at the disconnect and wait for the inverter capacitors to discharge before touching boards or wiring.
  2. Restart after 3 minutes.
  3. Check the wiring and plugs between the boards.
  4. Still there replace the adapter board, then the outdoor main control board.
