Kinghome · Heat pump
PH DC bus voltage high
What the control is telling you
The DC bus voltage is above its limit. On the wall units the compressor stops. Ultranixx units shut down if no other fault exists.
Applies to: Kinghome KM09HT1DI, KM12HT1DI, KM18HT1DI, KM24HT1DI wall mini-splits; Kinghome KM09HF1DI to KM24HF1DI wall mini-splits (Gree GFH..DA/DB); Kinghome Ultranixx Eco KD24UHO to KD60UHO outdoor units with KD..UHI air handlers; Kinghome Ultranixx cold-climate KU36UHO and KU60UHO outdoor units with KU..UH2I and KD..UHI air handlers
Likely causes
- High supply voltage (above 265 VAC on the wall units)
- Faulty bus-voltage sampling or drive board
Test and repair steps
- Measure L-N voltage at the terminal block.
- Warning: Switch off power at the breaker and wait for the DC bus capacitors to discharge before touching the outdoor control board or compressor wiring.
- Check the capacitor/board voltage if the supply is normal.
- Replace the board if the circuit is faulty.
