R-32 leak detection response and test
What happens, in order
- Sensor detects R-32 in the coil area
- RDS tells the system to drop the thermostat call, run the blower for air circulation and switch off electric heat
- Red LED on the board flashes fast while the alarm is active
- After the leak clears the board stays in mitigation for 5 minutes (LED on steady) before normal operation
- Unit must stay powered except for service; do not open or shut off the unit during an alarm
- Test press the board button twice within 5 s to simulate a leak for 5 minutes; press once to end the test early
