Hold 62 Fan speed not proved

Medium severity Trinity Tft

What the control is telling you

Control does not see the expected blower speed signal. It flashes up briefly before every ignition as the blower drives to light-off speed; only a problem if it stays.

Applies to: Trinity Tft60, Tft85, Tft110, Tft154, Tft201, Tft285, Tft340, Tft399

Likely causes

  • Normal during drive to light-off (momentary)
  • Blown fuse A (blower has no power)
  • Loose blower wiring or connectors
  • Failed blower or control board

Test and repair steps

  1. Check fuse A
  2. Check the blower connectors at both the control and the blower
  3. If the code stays 15 seconds or longer with the blower running, read the fan speed on the display; if it shows LOW RPM, HIGH RPM, 0 or a jumping value, try another control and replace the blower if the code stays
